Toy Story Land is an extremely popular themed land in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The infamous Toy Story movie inspires Toy Story Land, which stars Woody, Jessie, and all the toys in this one! For an easy trip into Toy Story Land, you travel along Hollywood Boulevard and head straight toward the Chinese theater. First, head to a lower level, then go right. When you pass Walt Disney Present, turn right onto Andy’s house. The second entrance to Star Wars is a separate entry known as Galaxy’s Edge. Once you reach toy story Land, you will be reduced to size and surrounded by toy-filled countryside with all your favorite characters.
What did Toy Story Land replace in Disney World?
Studios Backlot Tour Toy Story Land opened on November 17, 2011. Toy Story Land opened in Shanghai in May 2018. Disney Hollywood Studios Toy Story Land opened in Disney Hollywood Studios Florida on August 15, 2015, and closed on September 17, 2017. The Toy Story Land in Disney World, Florida, opened on June 30, 2018.
Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios was initially known as Toy Story Midway Mania. Guests would enter near Pixar Palace when Toy Story Mania opened in 2008.
Toy Story Land Rides
There are three Toy Story Land rides currently running daily. Two newer attractions and an attraction previously introduced into the refurbished land with a new entrance to 11 acres of new toys. Rides include Slinky Dog Dashing, Alien Swirling Saucers & the very popular Toy Story Mania.
Slinky Dog Dash
Andy has installed his Mega Coaster Playset and takes Slinky Dog and you along for rides to Toy Story Land. The family friendly roller coaster features faux Christmas lights, oversized buildings, and even Jessie riding along. You can also enjoy the illuminations of the ride. This is made for kids, tweens, teens, and adults as long as they meet the 38-inch height requirement. There is a lightning lane option available for this ride as well.
We’re not planning to spoil the story, but the final Slinky Dog Dash finale adds another enjoyable ride. Avoid the front seats on the coaster, which could be scary to have the perfect view because otherwise, the Slinky’s rear will always remain visible.
Toy Story Mania
Toy Story Mania is a 4D shooting game that stars many Toy Story characters and is an extremely popular ride. Guests of all ages and sizes can enjoy this ride. During this ride, there are five fast-paced games: Hamm & Eggs, Rex & Trixie Pull Toy, Green Army Men Shoot Camp, Buzz Lightyear’s Flying Tossers, and Woody’s Rootin’ Tootin’ Shootin’ Gallery.
It is essential to hit your mark to earn a high score on Toy Story Mania. This ultimately means that accuracy and speed are both critical. I’m for the areas worth more points and the secret targets that will unleash the “Easter Eggs.” These hidden targets are worth even more points than traditional targets.
Alien Swirling Saucers
Guests, 32 inches or taller, get to take an intergalactic spin with the infamous aliens from Toy Story on the Alien swirling saucers from Pizza Planet. This ride does have a spinning feature similar to the teacups, so guests who quickly get motion sick should avoid this ride. Likewise, many guests avoid the Alien swirling saucers to avoid being sick.
Toy Story Land Characters
Toy Story Land is incomplete without interaction between the characters of the movie. You can meet the Toy Story gang at specific locations around Toy Story Land. For example, we often meet Buzz near the exit behind a large wooden sculpture on Slinky Dog Dash.
Woody meets Jessie frequently outside the cute toys-story mania entrance. Is it ideal for a whole family photo? Keep an eye out for the courageous soldiers who guard Andy’s yard! Green Army Patrols walk around and talk and snap pictures. There is even an option to take a photo with Sheriff Woody and Bo Peep.
Food at Toy Story Land
Today, only a quick service option is available, with another restaurant currently being built.
Woody’s Lunch Box
There is one quick service restaurant within Toy Story Land: Woody’s Lunch Box. This quick service restaurant is as if Andy had taken his lunch box and turned it into a backyard window service. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus are all $14.99 and under per adult.
Woody’s Lunch Box is labeled “American,” with much barbecue-themed food. One of the top options is the barbecue brisket melt, a perfect combination of brisket, pickles, and barbecue sauce melted between cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese on sourdough bread. One of the top beverages is the Grown-Up’s Lemonade, a mixture of cherry vodka, Minute Maid® Premium Lemonade, and Black Cherry Purée.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ
The western-themed restaurant is perfect for you if you want a table service restaurant. This restaurant had an official opening date on April 5, 2023. Guests can enjoy lunch from 10:45 am to 3:55 pm and dinner from 4.:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Pricing for both the lunch and dinner menu will range from $35 to $59.99. This is an immersive restaurant, meaning you will feel right in the movie.
Dining Reservations
While Woody’s Lunch Box is a quick service restaurant, meaning there are no dining reservations, guests must understand the reservation system for Roundup Rodeo BBQ. All in-park table-service restaurants require a dining reservation and a theme park reservation with a valid admission for that park on that specific date for all guests ages three and up.
Please note that dining reservations do not guarantee access to the park, and the Park Hopper availability changes daily. Therefore, it is always best to make the Disney Park Pass reservation and then make the dining reservations to guarantee your ability to make the dining reservation.
Cancellations
Walt Disney World employs a two-hour cancellation policy. Guests must cancel their reservation at least two hours before the dining reservation to avoid the $10 per person cancellation fee. If the cancellation is within the two-hour time limit, the credit card used to make the reservation will be automatically charged $10 per person for the reservation.
Is Toy Story Land worth it?

Toy Story at Magic Kingdom

During Mickey’s Merry Christmas Celebration, Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade has a toy story float featuring Woody, Jessie Buzz Lightyear, and Bullseye horses. Tickets for separate events are available during select nights from November through December.
